Rompers. I don't know why, but I LOVE these! Maybe it's because they're so comfortable, so versatile - you can wear them with a blazer, a jean jacket, a lace vest, over your bathing suit - anything, really. Just throw on some platform sandals and load up on the jewelry and your good to go! Sadly, I'm much too long in the torso for every romper I've tried on (there's the ever so attractive camel toe look), but that's not gonna stop me from my search in finding the perfect one!

My Weekend

Much needed pedicure - Essie "Mod Squad". As much as I love black / dark nail polish, I'm pumped about the pretty Spring colors I'm about to start wearing.

Had a half a day of work Friday, so that meant drinks with one of my besties at World of Beer. I like the Brown Kasteel Donker Ale.

Then, later that night, drinks with more friends at the Draft Bar, downtown.

No weekend is complete without shopping!

Scarf Fetish

I'm developing a real issue with collecting scarves. I didn't even realize it, until I went through some things for our annual garage sale. Scarves are like nail polish, a few months go by and - BAM! - you have like 50. I can't help myself, they go with everything, no matter the season. I like that they dress up an otherwise blah outfit.

My Pin-Up Girl Photoshoot.

I did a pin-up girl photoshoot as a surprise gift for my boyfriend. The photos are strictly for him, but (as promised) I'm posting one here on my blog.

I did this shoot with Aubrie from Hello Gorgeous Photography. Not only is she SUPER SWEET, she's ah-mazing and as patient as a Saint! I had a blast and would do another shoot with her in a millisecond. So much fun! Thanks, Aubrie. :)

I have around 25 bikinis, some I've bought for $200 and some I've bought for $30. It always seems the ones that I've purchased from Old Navy are the most well received. Love this one I just got:

I'm at a point in my life where this quote, from Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw, makes perfect sense.

I won't get into too much here on my blog, but not every woman has the same dreams and fantasies. We didn't all dream of a white picket fence, babies, marriage and a mortgage. I certainly didn't. Yet I always seem to feel like I should have. I should want those things. And I always seem to feel bad about myself that I don't. I feel like something is missing and I always wonder if it's because I should want certain things...even when I truly don't.

It's something I've been thinking about lately. Alot.

TGIF

I had a grand ole' time at CVS this morning. Needed some essentials and loaded up on some Easter goodies to make my guy an Easter basket (now if I could just stop eating the candy!).

My good friend and I just booked our trip to Las Vegas for Memorial Day weekend! I'm super excited. The last time I went to Vegas was 6 years ago. There were so many things I wanted to do but didn't have a chance, so next month it's ON!

We are staying at the Bellagio.

We have tickets to Holly Madison's Peep Show that Friday night.

And I'm going to TRY and drag my friend to ride the Stratosphere with me! It's more than 100 floors up, and over looks all of Las Vegas.

Of course, we'll be playing poker and roulette as well as drinking our way down the strip, hehe. So excited!
